Got to spend some time with this year’s District 18 High School Football Coach of the Year, James Delgado.
Riverdale Raiders had an amazing season and James was voted as Coach of the Year by his peers in SWFL. They went 10-1, won the Battle of the Bell vs their rival Lehigh, won districts and have had an amazing impact on the Riverdale community.
We discussed his path in coaching, community work, making men, the successes from this past season and many other topics. He also gave me a sweet hat! Sorry to my Triton alumni!
Take a few minutes and listen to James and understand the influence he is having on young men in our community from his own team down to the students at Riverhall including a young boy named Cooper.
