I wish the days of a handshake deal came back but that is not happening any time soon. Same with walking into the bank of 30 years and them giving you whatever loan you needed. Those days are long gone and documentation is required.
When your buyer’s apply for a mortgage they are going to want to be ready to provide documentation on everything involving current income, assets, real estate and debt. Probably going to find more to ask for as well.
