Space Force is a new series on Netflix that is based on President Trump stating that he wanted to start a Space Force to colonize the moon. I was pretty pumped to see this come on. I love sci fi and comedy. Steve Carell is solid but I was really excited by John Malkovich being in it. Love that guy.
Steve Carrel plays some General that gets the job to head up Space Force but they are a joke to other branches of the Armed Forces. The Season shows Space Forces mission of getting to the moon before the Chinese. In between, the show is filled in with Steve’s odd family life, (Spoiler Alert) his wife is in prison but they never tell you why. Very annoying.
Anywho….this show was disappointing. I had high hopes for it and it did not live up to it. I will watch Space Force season 2 just because I feel invested and I like sci fi.
I give it a 640 credit score.
