When my Grandaddy passed away years ago, my then girlfriend and now wife, suggested a song to me. The song was called “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me. It is a song about someone wondering what it will be like to meet Jesus. It quickly became one of my favorite songs and I anytime I hear it, I think of my GranDaddy and other loved ones who have passed away. The song has helped me thru many moments in my life. Gratitude to Bart Millard for writing this song and his group Mercy Me for singing it.

From the moment I first heard the song I always felt like the singer had other meanings in this song and this movie proved it. Now this is not a spoiler alert since you will figure it out quickly but the singer wrote this song for his Dad and their relationship. I'm betting there is a probability you will watch and get choked up, I did. Really though, I also choke up at any Dad scenes so that should not come as a shock.

This movie might not be for everyone, it is religious but I loved this movie and so did my family.

This song will forever be special to me. Another song around that has the same affect on me is “When I Get Where I’m Going” by Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton.

The Verdict:

I’m changing my credit score grading for this one. Now, I normally stop at a 740 credit score since 740 and higher is basically considered the same. This movie gets an 800 credit score which is the highest score given. I need to go back and revise “Joker” to an 800 as well. Got to be fair!
