Confession. I'm watching any movie Adam Sandler puts out. I don't care how many stinkers he has, I will be there for him.
When the family sat down last night to watch "Hubie Halloween" on Netflix I fully expected this movie to be a train wreck. It was not. My kids and I laughed from start to finish. My wife made it about 45 minutes before falling asleep which is a really good sign for a movie.
Yes it got corny at times and there were plot holes but it didn't matter because it was funny. I actually couldn't remember the last comedy movie I watched where I thought it was funny. Tons of old SNL people and other comedy actors played roles in the movie which was awesome. Shaq even shows up.
Pay attention to Adam Sandler's Moms shirts. She bought a bunch of shirts at the thrift store and wears them all throughout the movie. Every shirt has a dirty/funny saying on it like "Boner Donor" or "If you can read this you are in fart range"
Sandler's comedy is not for everyone. The movie has 57% on Rotten Tomatoes but I'm not Rotten Tomotoes. If you like Sandler's comedy then you will want to make sure you watch this. I give this bad boy a 720 credit score because it's Adam Sandler and he is also Chris Farley's best friend.
