The whole family went to watch Captain Marvel this past weekend and I really liked it. I have to admit, that I was fully prepared not to like it. The trailers were not good and I saw some reviews that slammed the movie so I lowered my expectations.
It probably helped that I did not know a lot about the Captain Marvel story line. It seems some hard core fans did not care for the movie. Side note. I am so old and out of touch that I have no idea who Brie Larson is. I still haven’t researched where she came from.
I thought the movie had great action and I really enjoyed the Nick Fury story line along with the comedy.
There were a few things I had issues with but nothing to make me not like the movie. The ending battle scene made no sense to me but I’m sure Marvel had to set up Captain Marvel Part 2.
Everyone else in my family seemed to enjoy it and it made me excited for Avengers Endgame in April.
Anyways, go see it if you like super hero movies.
