Squid Game | Netflix | Movie Review | Tim Hart Jr

Maybe you have heard of Squid Game on Netflix or maybe you haven't. I don’t even know where to start to explain this show. The best example I have is an adult Hunger Games played inside Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.

I’m not going to give away spoilers since some of you may have not seen this yet and will probably watch it. The basic premise is that someone or group recruits people all over South Korea that are in massive debt or just flat out broke to play in a top secret game to win billions of Won.
Don’t worry I googled how may US dollars equals the billions of Won that is at stake. The prize money equals $38 million US dollars.

Anyways, the first episode is kind of slow until they play the game Red Light, Green Light at the end of the episode. That is when you find out that nothing will be normal about this show.
This show is filmed in South Korea and all the actors speak Korean. I always prefer to leave the native language on and read the subtitles. I’m also getting so old where subtitles are actually helpful all the time. I feel old even saying that.

This show will not be everyone but if you are looking for something different and are ok with violence and gore then give this wild show a chance.

I give it a 700 credit score.
