This HBO series called “Mare of Easttown” was fantastic. Shout out to Kevin Yeager for mentioning this one on Facebook.
It stars Kate Winslet who is famous for letting Jack freeze to death while she selfishly floated away to enjoy 90 years of life. She redeems herself in this show which is based somewhere in PA where only weirdos live.
This is a great murder mystery/drama and I know it was good because my wife and I both watched it together. That is rare lately as she is usually catching up on General Hospital episodes or I am watching some kind Bigfoot/Alien/Supernatural b movie.
Anyways, there are tons of plot twists and the acting is on point. Reminds of the first season of True Detective with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. Not quite as good as that but pretty dang close.
