I saw "The Greatest Showman" and "The Shape of Water" coming back from Colorado. I loved one and despised the other. Here are my thoughts.
The Greatest Showman
The Greatest Showman was a great movie. It's a musical so be ready for that in case you hate music for some odd reason. Big dreamer guy, comes from nothing to rise to the top, against all odds etc. Highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars from me.
The Shape of Water
The Shape of Water was one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen in my life and I have sat through some doozies. Winning the Academy awards should have been a dead give away as to how bad this movie was going to be. I love sci-fi, fantasy and whatever else would involve a swamp creature that is guarded by a top secret government agency but this movie was horrible. I should spoil it for you in case you were going to watch it but I won't. I give this swamp garbage 1 out of 5 stars.
