I hear this comments like this several times a week.
“My Realtor wanted me to call you to get pre-approved before they show me homes”
In this video I go into the two main reasons why they want you to be pre-approved before they show you property.
Not wanting to waste their time is one reason and the other is so they can show you the property that fits your budget.
Realtors don't show homes as a hobby. they may really enjoy taking clients out and finding the perfect home, but
that doesn't mean they want to spend their whole weekend showing homes to someone for free if they find out that they can't qualify.
Secondly, they want to make sure you are in the right price range. Why upset yourself looking at homes that are just not in your price range right now.
Or alternatively why look at homes that may be smaller than what you want because you don't know how much you can afford?
